Ashley Carrithers, founder of JAG and UPNOW U, has been active in Earth Rescue campaigns since the mid seventies when he founded Island Press. He had already largely developed his model for global governance and was very pleased with the New Shape Prize in Sweden, as it gave him and others a forum for sharing their visions. The semi debacle over there at least served to catalyze JAG’s Jaguar Prize, which he is hoping will produce excitement around the world and go on to effect beneficial CHANGE. He lives in the Argentine Patagonia where he is nurtured, tutored, entertained and loved by the Deep Nature Power Point that is his estancia.
